Before I start my Day 3 recap, I just wanted to thank everyone for baring with me as I transferred my blog to its new host. I'm so excited that everything is done and I look forward to finding a groove and bringing you MUCH more content (and giveaways)!
Day Two of #MIAFW14 started fairly early for me but not without good reason! I was invited by Jambalaya Media Group to attend a 'Tweet Up' with their #MeetMeInMiami guest speakers, Cynthia Bailey from the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta', Sarah D. Jakes the 'Lost & Found: Finding Hope in the Detours of Life' Author, Chris Curse a Celebrity Hairstylist, and Sonya Jackson Myles the founder of 'The Sister Accord'.
They each so incredibly sweet and down to earth! here are a few snaps from the Tweet Up at the W Hotel South Beach.
I've finally caught a moment to sit down and share what an amazing time I'm having at Miami Fashion Week! As you know, I was chosen as 1 of 30 Official Bloggers from around the world to cover the 16th Annual festivities and I am so thankful for the opportunity.
Day One of fashion week began with torrential downpour and a tornado warning but I braved the weather and started off with attending a Master Class on "Fashion In Our Lives" hosted by the Beautiful Miss Haiti 2010, Sarodj Bertin. She was so sweet and gave great advice about dressing to represent your mood.
As you can see from the picture below, my mood was combat and my enemy was the weather! LOL
Last night I had the honor of attending the Miami Fashion Week Kick-Off party at the Beautiful Eden Roc Hotel on Miami Beach. I met so many amazing Bloggers, Designers, and Fashion lovers and can't wait for the master classes and shows later today!
I also danced my butt off to the sounds of DJ Y$L and So Silent Disco headphones. Here are a few photos taken by my INCREDIBLE photographer Krysten; Make sure you visit her website at www.knphotos.net and book a shoot! Check out what I wore on the red carpet below..
